voluntary agreement
#1
I was hurt on the job in May 2002 while transferring a agitated client, My Co worker took the blunt of the weight and pulled me i landed on the frame of the bed with my back landing on the armrest. I immediately felt a sharp pain in my left leg and numbness in my left foot as well as back pain. since then i have not been able to walk w/oa cane. The IC has given me a hover round. The IC wanted me to sign a VA (voluntary agreement) but it only listed my back as my only injury, I refused to sign it without it including my leg and foot. Am I right or Wrong. The IC said we can first handle my back and come back to the leg and foot. Help!

Each state had different rules without knowing yours specific information cannot be given. many states have ombudsmen or help desks available.
you can check with yours to see if it's available.
Reminder :
........Each state has their own comp system; POST YOUR STATE to get accurate information. Use the search feature to find information from similar questions.
THANKS FOR POSTING.

I'm from CT. So far WC has handled everything pertaining to my back leg and foot. I was diagnosed with foot drop by IME and can't understand why they won't include those body parts on the VA.
