ok lawyer called today and said he gave the adjuster a setlement ammount..he said she may be open to it and would come back with a counter he says hes going to no something tommarrow maybe and for sure by monday at 5 pm..what im wondering is how this moved so quickly..i was just taken back off work tuesday which the adjuster says dosent matter she going by what my treating dr recommended..and how can they talk settlement when i havent even been rated by anyone??..lawyer says im lucky there gonna skip this process is it legal to skip it and go strait for a settlement?

yes, in your state the parties can settle at any time.
an attys greatest value is the settlement-it's where you both get paid.

do you know what all is wrong? can it be fixed? I also settled before the surgery was done because I wasnt ready for the surgery and the docs didnt want to do it because of scar tissue problems till we had no choice....I was given a rating pre surgery.....
........I love cats, I just cant eat a whole one by myself......

no i don't know what is wrong...and ive already had a 2 level fusion as you know with the hardware removed..the dr says that i should be ok so thats what the adjuster says shes going off of...so i really dont know whats going on right now i will know alot more today..if not today late monday for sure..i do know in the offer there will be a retraining proposal
