My case is in Texas! Originaly I was awarded 16% total body disabilty, Then the W/C Insurance attorney appealed it and I recently received my decision! They threw out the DD doctors report that assigned me 16% total body disability and accepted my treating Doctors report which gave me a 15% total body disability! After the appeals panel makes it's decision is it final?

I personally think it is ridiculous on how far the IC has pushed this issue! My case is legit! It is what it is.

often times it's not about the particular case or issue. there can be other factors that drive the decisions.
ya just have to roll with it; the outcome is outa' your hands.
the legal system has it's own craziness. when you put the two together the path is even more unpredictable.

Thanks for the response! My attorney doesn't think the IC wants to go that far and if they do my attorney is confident that we would win in court! It has just been a long drawn out process!

After the appeals panel rendered there decision on my Impairment rating in Tx. The new finding extended my MMI date 32 days to the statutory limit! How long does the I/C have to pay the TIBS that are now owed!
