Wisconsin IME GODS
#1
I had a job of 14 years that I was let go from, Never ever had a problem with my arms and or hands.

I started a new job, and got Carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve damage and ended up quitting.

I have gone through the tests, and 6 doctors all confirm that I had this damage, and all 6 state that surgery is their recommended cure.

I say all six doctors! One of the six is even the insurance companies IME.

He examined me (Granted it was a bogus exam at best,) I was with him a max of 5 minutes where he squeezed my hands and had me squeeze his, and that was it. Yet the main test with the specialist was 2 hours long with computers electrodes and all this other stuff. He agreed totally on the diagnosis.

BUT!

They still won't pay for the surgery because they say The new job I was doing would not cause it.

Thats it..

It's awful simple I would think>

Lets see doing one job for 14 years with absolutely no problems, then start a new job and suddenly get this condition.

hello?

and because of this one paid for by the insurance company exam, they are not gonna pay?

What can anyone do in this situation?

It seems soo incredible clear, fine 14 years, change job, get injured, but they blameit on the 14 year job that i never ever had a problem with.

what can I do?

Thanks

I would seriously look for a attorney that specializes in wc. The first visit is always free and with you injury the first job may have caused it but didnt show up untill later while at your new job.. If I may ask..... Why did you quit...? Were they harrising you..?

I am also from WI...............bronco

The reason I quit was I could no longer do the job that was causing the injury. BAD Carpal Tunnel and ulnar nerve injuries. And they had no other job for me at the company.

I have an attorney that does WC cases, but he's not too sure about winning a case. We have a meeting with the ALJ on Feb 1st.

But what I do not understand is, even with the history as in my original posting. Where I was fine for 14 years then started the new job and got the injury that all said i had and that surgery is warranted. even the IME said so, but then at the end the IME says that what I was doing wouldn't cause it.

How can this hold any water I'm fine for 14 years, then start new activity and get hut and all say I am hurt. Yet all it takes is this paid by the insurance company thug with a 5 minute meeting to decide that they are not responsible?

Who made him GOD? other than the insurance company.

My lawyer feels that with the ALJ we have he feels we don't have much of a case he has a record of siding on the side of money for the state, "Businesses" I don't make the state any money, so he primarily sideds in favor of the business.

What a crock this is.

And I'm just looking for any suggestions of something I can do or help my lawyer to do. for if I loose this case I will be homeless.

My oppinion only.... If your lawyer is lacking confidence or is second guessing..... maybee you need a new lawyer... Wc lawyers dont even take a case unless they think they will win, because thats the way they make thier money...

And as far as helping your lawyer......make sure he has all your records from the 6 drs with him.....

If you dont mind me asking.........What was your job descriptions with your last employers..........just to better understand your injuries......Bronco

In fancy motels you will find in the rooms these fancy trash cans and ice buckets. They are made of metal and cardboard cores. depending if it's a trash can or ice bucket.

Anyway on the outside is this imitation leather like stuff. anyone remember naugahyde?

Anyway this is a skin that makes it decroative and pretty.

It is "Skin Tight' pun intended. it is very tight so there are no wrinkles or saggy baggy areas. But to put them on you need to grab the edge of the circle of mater ial and pull it onto the metal can or core.

it is extremely tight and more than not it actually slipps from your fingers grips no matter how hard you are squeezing trying to pull and push this onto the can.

Do this all day 8 hours a day. and thats what caused the injury.
they looked somewhat like this when finished
