I was seen by my specialist today, and after showing him how my leg weakness has progressed, he has requested surgery (discectomy). My head is reeling from that, now too. Also, the work comp company is trying to send me back to modified duty (can they do that?).
My husband is in the midst of finding a job, he has been laid off since May. He is also the type of person who feels as though if you push through the pain, you can fix anything. He wobbles back and forth between being helpful and being irritating.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
