You should consider hiring an attorney who can pick another doctor from the insurance companies MPN.
You do not need to pay to see a specialist. You can get a referral to see one through work comp.
Hi hey thanks for your reply, I am hiring an attorney that I filled out paper work with on Monday,
I did not want to do it but I am pretty much being forced, hey I am wondering when the attorney gets a second opinion doctor from the insurance companies MPN how does that differ from the work comp doctor, aren't the doctors on the insurance companies MPN list still on the ins company side or no? I am just kinda wondering because it is a list that the insurance company provides right?
Thanks

Please listen to the advice given to you because my brother loved his employer for almost three decades and they took little time to fire him. I've seen many good people get fired or treated nasty because they filed a Workers Compensation claim. Your job is to get yourself better in case you have to change jobs(worse case scenario) which I hope you don't. The Insurance Companies job is to provide you with the least care possible and keep costs as low as their legally allowed to. Last year was a Record Savings year for Comp Insurance Carriers in California, that savings is not derived from providing good health care to Injured Workers. Please listen to the advice given, their very kind!
