1171, I totally agree with you about using a company for structure settlement, however it's all about the wording of it and making sure I don't get a hit on my SSDI. I do remember calif help saying something about formula that can be used. Genex has been thrown around, plus they did the MSA and so I'm feeling like it goes together, I'm only guessing because I don't know, but I'm grateful for your insight on all of it ..

Yes SSDI has specific but complicated instructions on how to pro rate the disability Segment of a Compromise & Release under california comp law. Its been used many many times over the years and most experienced comp attys have templates for the wording and calculators to compute the numbers.
I wouldn’t worry too much about that aspect.
