Lousiana work comp statutes mandate that the current edition (6th) of the AMA Impairment Guides be used to rate impariment.
Disability calculations are based on the impairment rating.

In my opinion, I think you would need to list all the things, such as house work, chores, sports, hobbies, and such. Meaning list the things like shown here, of what you were able to do or perform before injured, and list what is each one you can not do or perform now, and why. Please note, listing SEX with your parnter is good also. List like 3 times a week before injured, and like maybe 1 time a month now and why. These are examples only.

What is the definition of disability used by Social Security?
Under the Social Security Act, "disability" means "inability to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of any medically determinable physical or mental impairment which can be expected to result in death or has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months."

I always post this site for people. It is SUPER helpful in obtaining SSD.

My doctors helped me get SSD with their wording of my health issues. So, make sure ALL your doctors know you are applying and trying for SSD...they can help you.

Good Morning everyone!! Thanks for all replys. I contacted my Congressmen 2wks ago. Rec'd a letter from him last week, said that he wrote SSA on my behalf. Hopefull that it works out. But I will accept it any way it goes. God is my driver. He says "If I put my Faith and Trust In HIM, HE will never forsake me" I really believe that. The only reason I have come this far, is because of HIM. Thanks everyone for being here for me. 43yrs. young today. feels like I'm 93. But I'm blessed. Good Day everyone.
