question for 1171 - risingeagle222 - 02-28-2008 When work comp wants to settle and my lawyer sends our request how long then till work comp needs to respond??? RE: question for 1171 - 1171 - 02-28-2008 court systems and court rules also vary with each state so i can only speak in general on Iowa's but neither side has to respond. The parties are not required to agree on a settlement. That's why is generally best to have a court date set up in advance so both sides know that if they don't get it done the judge will be deciding. RE: question for 1171 - risingeagle222 - 02-28-2008 I was afraid of that.....lol. Well I was hoping this would be done with soon as I am really on hold with my life right now as I know all of us are.
