Denied claim - Northerngal57 - 09-11-2020

A family member was working as an RN on a Covid unit and it was her 5th 12 hour shift in a row. She tripped and sprained her ankle and had to take 3 weeks off of work with no pay, no reimbursement and is now being told she has to pay for her xrays etc. She owes 1,000 and is told if she doesn’t pay it will be sent to collections. She did approach an attorney that would not take her case as there was not enough time off and money involved. Any suggestions on where she should turn?
