First Drs. Appt! How to prep? - kp121 - 10-03-2018 Hi again, I'm getting ready to see my first doctor about my WC injury. I know he accepts workers comp insurance, so I'm not too worried about this specific appointment, but I want to make sure I'm asking all the right questions. Specifically, I know my adjuster gets to decide what treatment is approved/denied. Let's say my doctor says I need surgery. How is my adjuster gonna decide to approve/deny that treatment? What information does she need to make that decision? is any of it information I can get from my doctor at this appointment? Thanks, I'm in Massachusetts RE: First Drs. Appt! Massachusetts, like many other states, controls treatment thru a utilization review process.
