Reopening old workmans comp case - ravenzdad3 - 03-24-2018

I fell 2 stories in the 80's. I now have a disease called Syringomyelia, you can only get it 2 ways one is a birth defect, second is trauma. Mine is trauma I had the accident in Maryland.I have searched MD Judiciary case search and cannot find.Can anybody help me find this information, put me in a direction. Thank you

Depends how on how your claim was closed.
Do you have your previous claim paperwork?
Did you buyout future benefits?
Was there a court approved award?

You have 5 yrs from the last payment of compensation to reopen a claim for worsening crondition.
