forced to use vacation time - bryan43016 - 12-27-2017
I recently hurt my back at work and the WC doctor gave me a letter stating no work for a week. My employer is forcing me to use PTO but since it is a WC claim and I have a doctor's note for the time off shouldn't I get my usual pay during the time off since it is a work related injury without having to use my PTO. I am in Missouri?

You should have the option of taking unpaid leave during the first 3 days of disability.
Missouri has a 3 day waiting period which will be paid if/when your disability exceeds 14 days.
They should make disability payments for days 4-7.
