Receiving sec 32 from NYS Insurance Fund - Jeffsande01 - 10-11-2016 Good day all, I'm about to have my sec 32 hearing on the 13th. My injuries are as listed below •Torn meniscus repair on right knee •Surgery on C6/c7 herniated disk ACDF surgery performed •Torn rotator cuff in left shoulder (surgery done) •Torn ligaments on right ankle , due to consuquential injury from right knee (no surgery, but placed in a air cast for 8 months. I'm hearing NYS insurance fund doesn't pay out a lot like the independent insurance companies like State Farm etc. if anyone has ever received a second 32 from NYS INSURANCE FUND, what part of the body were you paid, percentage loss and amount? I'm trying to see a trend of of NYS INSURANCE FUND would pay out. Please let me know so I can do more research. Thank you RE: Receiving sec 32 from NYS Insurance Fund - 1171 - 10-11-2016 Impairment payments are set by law. future medical benefits are subjective; everyone has their own estimate. You are not required to buy out your future benefits. You will not get enough statistically significant responses to compile a meaningful result from a public message board. different NYS adjusters/offices/attys will produce different negotiated settlement amounts. You are better off Researching the New York comp rules if you are negotiating a settlement by yourself. http://www.wcb.ny.gov/content/main/onthejob/DisabilityClass.jsp RE: Receiving sec 32 from NYS Insurance Fund - Jeffsande01 - 10-11-2016 (10-11-2016, 11:46 AM)1171 Wrote: Thank you |
