TN Who pays medical bills when you win state appeal of caae? - Dotdot126 - 11-03-2015

When I was first injured in 2010 my employer denied my claim. While in appeal I paid my own medical bills through husband's insurance. I won my appeal and now ex employer is refusing to pay medical bills that insurance wants reimbursement for because injury was deemed work related. I say they should pay since they put me in a position of refusing me medical care from the beginning. Does anyone know the law in this regard? My attorney did not tell me this information about rreimbursement of insurance when he convicted me to settle. I am crying foul here. Thanks for any info anyone can give. Been fighting this battle since 2010 and I am sooooo weary.

I'm confused.
you mean you are settling after you won your appeal?
generally settlements happen to avoid the risks of litigation.
if the court found for you, what's left to be settled?
and if you are settling now, why/how does the reimbursement issue between the two insurers affect you?
your settlement amount should not be any different no matter which carrier pays the medical.
