DOC FILED, NOW WHAT?
#1

IN CALIFORNIA AFTER A DOC IS FILED, DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE COURT DATE FOR THE CASE TO SETTLE OR CAN THE CASE SETTLE BEFORE?

Never heard of a doctor being filed?
In most states a settlement can be Negotiated outside of a court appearance.

Sorry I believe DOC stands for declaration of readiness? A settlement has been signed but there is a court date for April. I'm wondering if the settlement wont be finalized until then. The case is in California.

DOR.
The settlement has to be sent to the WCAB for approval.
Approval Should not take that long unless there is something wrong.
