Sarasota, FL (WorkersCompensation.com) – With more than $4.2 billion in direct written premium and 7.5 percent of market share, Travelers Group is the largest workers’ compensation, according to a new preliminary report. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners is providing weekly updates through March of its 2019 results of the Top 25 groups and companies by countrywide premium. The next on the list in order are:

- Amtrust Financial Services Group $2.17B 3.87%
- State Insurance Fund $1.99B 3.56%
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Group $1.74B 3.11%
- American International Group $1.45B 2.59%
The list is included in the NAIC’s rankings of Property & Casualty insurers. The full market share reports for 2019 data are expected within a couple of months.
