At WorkersCompensation.com, the impact on our operations from the COVID-19 Pandemic has been similar to that of much of the industry. In order to keep our employees safe our Pandemic Response Plan has been activated, the offices are closed, and all associates are working from home. Operationally, however, we remain unaffected. Telephones and email communications are operating normally. In fact, we have been working hard to help the industry where we can in this time of great uncertainty.
Our Compliance Department worked closely with our development staff to build a comprehensive COVID-19 Update Center to track the plethora of notices, updates and rule changes that are coming forth as a result of the crisis. The center allows our users to search by state or across the nation on a comparative basis for topics like Telehealth, court proceedings, administrative office changes and more. This center is based in our WorkCompResearch.com Members area, but to help the industry we made the entire service free to the public from March 17, 2020 through April 30, 2020. This section proved invaluable to both paid and complimentary subscribers during this period. We will continue to monitor and update this section for the remainder of the year, and for as long thereafter that it is necessary.

Our company also has opened access to our Virtual Claims Kit product until May 30, 2020. This product, used by some of the largest insurance companies in the country, provides posting notices and other required forms in a digital format. The explosion of home-based workers, who are in most states required to have these documents, combined with carriers whose operations have been disrupted, mean that getting these documents where they are needed is a challenge. Our company has the solution to that issue and is honored to be able to help those dealing with it at this time.

It is our sincere hope that all will stay healthy and safe, and that life soon returns to normal for all of us. Until that time however, rest assured we are working to help wherever we can and give back to an industry that has been very good to us for over twenty years.
