Course Objectives
Provide adjusters and case managers with a basic understanding of Home Accessibility today and the impact on their claims tomorrow.

• Identify what constitutes home accessibility and identify the appropriateness for the homecare environment that will produce the best outcome for the injured worker.

• Recognize how equipment recommendations affect the injured worker’s level of function and understanding the deliverable and billing process for a worker’s compensations insurance carrier.

• Understand the modifications and complex rehab product lines that are focusing on maximizing the injured workers independence.

• Identify levels of diagnosis to the equipment recommendations by addressing that the injured worker may have secondary diagnosis or education deficient they may impede the outcomes.

Zack directs the rehabilitation technology and complex care services for One Call, specializing in assistive technology for severely injured employees. Zack and his team travel the country, evaluating patients in rehabilitation centers and visiting their homes to determine the best home-based treatment approach. Zack also oversees One Call's Life Assessment program that provides a 360-degree review of claims, evaluating factors that affect patient health and quality of life throughout the claim. Zack serves as an advisory board member for the Shepherd Center Spinal Cord Model System and speaks at various conferences throughout the country.
