About Deborah G. Kohl
In practice since 1980, Deborah G. Kohl is a highly respected and aggressive personal injury attorney concentrating in the areas of Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability law. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Northeastern University School of Law.
Ms. Kohl is a lecturer, author and renowned expert in the area of Workers Compensation law, and has served as President of the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group. She continues to serve on the Board of WILG. She has also chaired the Workers Compensation Section of the American Association for Justice. She was inducted into the College of Workers Compensation Lawyers and has served on its board and as its President.
She is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations, as well as the Mass. Academy of Trial Attorneys and the RI AAJ, the trial lawyers associations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Ms. Kohl is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence.
Ms. Kohl is the author of "Workers Compensation Law in Massachusetts," published by MCLE in 2013. For many years, she has been listed in the publication “Best Lawyers in America” for Workers Compensation in Massachusetts. Additionally, the firm is listed in “Best Law Firms in America” for Workers Compensation in Massachusetts.
