Testimony

Medical care providers are often asked to provide testimony to injured workers concerning their treatment and opinions of the injured worker. Testimony may be given either in court or through the use of a deposition. Generally speaking, depositions are taken in workers' compensation cases and are read by the judge hearing the matter. In certain cases, medical care providers may be called live before the judge. Usually, live testimony requires conferences with attorneys or the parties prior to the testimony.
