have not received a cent from W/C thanks to my employer not filing the C2 form.
Thank goodness I have Aflac :) insurance! I finally received a check from them for $926. with more pending. I have short term disability and accident policies with
I don't want to leave this girl out there stranded especially since I can see that she is floating around as a guest. A bit like a ghost. She sees everything, but can't make herself heard. I don't like to keep trying to post for her since I worry that I will get something wrong in the process. And she is feeling particularly down at the moment as well. Anyone have any ideas? I don't understand why she is having the problems. I had hoped that maybe I could register for her, but now that I am a member, I can't find any place to actually do that.

What is funny about this letter is I have been waiting 11 months on the judge's decision granting medical treatment for the above.
And my primary doctor (osteopath) has put in writing, the ulnar nerve entrapment is linked to the use of the cane.
The letter goes on to say the TTD payments have stopped due to not participating in active treatment.

I have been out of work 6 months or so now. Injury is work related but claim denied currently because they cannot decide if injury is work related or related to pre-existing conditions contributing. Physician documentation says work related, but have to wait and let an AME decision be made in 4 months. Was seen by physician this week still remain temporary totally disabled no work. Will be unable to work nearly 9-10 months by the time AME appt arrives and however; long after that for his decision. Should I/Do I qualify to apply for Social Security Disability benefits? I have enough work years needed to qualify, I am just wondering if I should apply or should I wait for the AME decision first? Until the WC insurance accepts my claim, my condition is not going to improve because no proper treatment is being authorized, just get narcotic pain pills and muscle relaxers. Pain mgt specialist has not done anything yet as they are waiting for authorization for epidural injections. so I can see being unable to work indefinitely at this point. so again should I apply for Social Security Disability?

PSYCHOPATH TEST

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. No one I know has gotten it right. Few people do.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream guy so much that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister...

Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

[Give this some thought before you answer, see answer below]

Answer:

She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again... If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to determine if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly. If you didn't answer the question correctly, good for you..
If you got the answer correct, please let me know so I can take your crazy a** off my e-mail list!

I am very happy I found this place.I am in Michigan and my case seems to be different from the others I have read here. I worked for my company for 5 1/2 years. In the first few weeks I was there I started having trouble breathing and had to go to the emergency room. They told me I have asthma, treated me and released me. I returned to work and over the next 5 years my breathing got worse and worse. It got to the point that I was taking 8 different medications, breathing treatments, and the only thing that would work is high doses of steroids. I was hospitalized two other times during those years for acute asthma and unless I was on high doses of steroids I could barely get off the couch. In April of 09 I just couldnt take it anymore and told my doctor we need to do something else cause I'm getting worse. I ended up going to a center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The physician, after lots of test and referrals to other doctors, diagnosed me with Interstitial Lung Disease, COPD, Asthma from being exposed to Cobalt and Carbide dust at work.I had to immediately be removed from from the workplace in mid April 09. Workers Comp immediately disputed the claim and my employer told me I should get an attorney.(I didnt want to at first because my employers treated me like family and I didnt want to do that to them.)I recieved short term disability for a few months that was half what I made. That ran out and my health insurance ran out 30 days after I had to leave work. Now I am down to my last 2000$. Cant afford prescriptions I am suppose to be on. Doctor doesnt know how to continue treatment cause I have no insurance and no way to pay for testing. He has givin me some samples that he has to keep me with some meds. Is this how this is works? I am at financial ruin. I cant pay for my child support, rent, let alone medications. I have told my attorney this and he said that I have to pay for these things because workers comp is disputing claim. Can anyone give me any advice, insight. Is this really how this is??
We live in Louisiana, last August my husband was injured on the job, he had a scope done and then ended up having total knee on his right knee this past March. He is still off work and after seeing a second doctor the conclusion is he will not be able to go back to driving a truck. The doctors say that his quad muscle is the problem and not his new knee. Of course we already know he will have to have the left knee done as well. Now we are being told that WC is wanting to offer us a settlement, we have no idea what to do now and since we are at the end of our rope could somebody advise us what we need to do.

I am here in Montana. Injured in 2007 with herniated disk at L5-S1, had surgery, failed. Now have complications of symptomatic Tarlov's cyst which w/c have accepted as being workplace injury related. I am currently waiting for w/c to decide whether or not I should be allowed to go to Kansas City for surgery...this is a new field and as such my own surgeon can not do the surgery. On top of all of this my surgeon has written to w/c stating that he feels that I am in need of some help in the home as well as some one to drive me to and from shopping on an occasional basis. I live on my own. Can no longer drive due to the meds I am taking and the pain that I get and can not take good care of my own home.

W/C has stated that my surgeon should advise if I require nursing care beyond the scope of normal household duties. I have found on research the "normal household duties" are such as meal preparation, putting out the rubbish etc. So what is beyond the normal scope? I cannot clean floors or use a hoover without extreme pain. I have a king size bed and the mattress is a Tempurpedic...it is bloody heavy and I find it really difficult stripping and making that bed. It is really hard. Washing the shower and the bath is difficult. So are they basically saying that I have to live in a dirty house and not make the beds or what? I am just trying to find out if I can get any kind of help. I am pretty much totally isolated because I am no longer able to drive. Watching telly is really boring, guys!!!

We have reached an agreement with the auto insurance company.

The amount is just under $10,000.00 and yes that is low but there is no wage loss due to wc and not working.

My main goal is to pay medical bills owed and pay the attorney.

And of course Medicare wants their share, it won't be much since I've only had Medicare for 1 year.
