"The Twilight Series" of 4 vampire books -- I purchased this, but haven't started reading yet. There is a lot of hype on the TV right now, with the 2nd book "New Moon" opening tonight at the theater.

Has anyone read the books I mention? and do you have any comments about them?

I want to find some really good "murder mysteries" and would welcome any suggestions.

I also wouldn't mind sharing books with forum members if anyone is interested???

My lawyer said that I need to see the doctor, to get the doctor's opinion. Why can't a PA give a deposition or an opinion?

1) My doctor ordered a test and medical equipment for me. How long does the insurance company have to authorize this?

2) I know like most of you, I am tired of all this work comp stuff. Have asked my attorney if he could set up personal mediation at his office and that was some time ago. I don't understand how come he wont do this. Anything that I might be able to say to him that would speed this up? I have asked so many times. Everytime he put in a PFB and a mediation is set from that, the IC responds to the PFB and then the mediation gets canceled cause issues have been resolved. I want a mediation to settle.

3) I will be moving to Virginia and I was wondering, has anyone ever moved while under work comp and does it make everything more difficult?

4) I spoke with my attorney about over usage and he told me to make an appointment with my orthopedic under my current claim then when I am there, ask him if he will treat me for my new problem. I have all this documented in my email. Should I print out the letter the attorney sent me about this and show it to my doctor?

5) Also my PM doctor ordered blood test and I had them on the 13 of Nov. If he found anything wrong they would call right?

This years campaign came to a close yesterday. A lot of effort went into the the campaign this year with the local economy being hit hard and increased demands for services of funded agencies it was a tough fundraising campaign.

Yesterday I attended the appreciation luncheon held for volunteers and learned our United Way not only reached their goal but went over it by $11,000.00, quite an achivement!]]>

I am praying that all of you are having as many pain free days that you can have, that your WC issues are being worked out and you are being treated fairly and getting the medical care that you need, that all of your families are well, that everyone's finances are doing ok or getting better for you and peace of mind. I pray for these things everyday for all involved on this forum. When I see special prayers are needed I may not have the time to post as my time is valuable as I am taking care of Kyzer now but please know that although I may not post for special prayers being asked for that you are getting those prayers from my end also.

I miss being able to be on here as much as I use to. My oldest son called Richard yesterday and told him they had to have meeting because he needed to know what to get me for Christmas. Richard said he was going to tell the boys to buy me a laptop so when I am watching Kyzer I can have my computer. The only bad thing is Kyzer keeps me so busy I don't know if I will have the time to use it...lol.

Just in case I am not in a position to post for Thanksgiving, I want to wish all of you a very blessed holiday and a very Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless all of you in a very special way as all of you are very special people to me. My love to all!

I,m pretty much near the settlement process, my question is because my job did not have modified work for me, my PD payments went up 15%. Does this also mean that the total PD payment will increase as well? I'm a little confused about this.
