Trial on friend's death to start next month

I have shared on this forum about the death of my friend Robin,
due to an overdose.

My friend's death is one of 4 federal indictments again this doctor, his wife, and another doctor from the clinc.

I was orderd by the court to give a deposition in December and will likely testify at the trial.

The following story was in the news today:

March 23, 2010

A federal judge has set a new date for the long-delayed trial of a Kansas doctor and his wife who are accused of operating a "pill mill" linked to 68 patient overdose deaths.

Dr. Stephen Schneider and his wife, Linda, who is a nurse, are
now scheduled for trial on April 26 in U.S. District Court in
Wichita. The proceedings are expected to last eight to 12 weeks.

A 34-count indictment unveiled earlier this month implicates
them in 68 overdose deaths as part of a moneymaking conspiracy. The
couple are charged with directly contributing to 21 of those
deaths.

The Schneiders are accused of scheming to illegally dispense
prescription drugs and defraud health insurance programs and
patients through their Haysville clinic. They are also accused of
money laundering.

Bummer... thanks for the update..... this is awlful what they are charged of doing and doing... wow..how can anyone cause the death of a person for $$$$...I just don't get it... Red
