Anyone here with an Apple Mac?
Ok. Just go ahead and hit me with one....more....problem. Honest. I swear!!!!!!!!!!! I have this refurbished little Apple Mac ibook. Great. I love it. I can actually sit in comfort and use the thing. But today the screen starts to flicker whilst I am working, then little black lines go right across the screen. I move the computer slightly and WHAM...it goes crazy like some short or something. I have looked up every thread I can find on Apples on the internet and I fear the worst. If its the screen...lost of dough out the window...if its the logicboard.............more dough out the window. Does anyone here have some computer genius living with them that I can direct my woes to?

Or maybe someone just has a rich aunty they might like to put me in touch with.

Oh. I am posting this from my desk top. Also Apple Mac. But I can't sit here for very long.

RE: Anyone here with an Apple Mac?
Already did that. I contacted a friend of mine in England who works with a lot of computers. He thinks that most likely it is the cable from the motherboard to the screen that is either shot or somehow worked itself loose. In either case it is not an easy repair and not worth the money it would cost to fix. BUT I did find a utube site that shows step by step how to take this little @@@@@@@ apart and sort the little problem out. I might try that. I think I have all of the tools here to try it. Either that or go to Aarons and see if I can get a new one on their monthly purchase scheme. Who knows.

Did it come with recovery software? You might have to reformat the hard drive. Try and back up your files on cd's or flashdrive before you do that.

Let Go, and Let God......
