Another Disc Problem
Hello everyone, I had fusion surgery in August,2009 and now I am going for MRI to see if L3-4 is herniated. My fusion was L4-5 to S-1. My question is if they find this disc gone as well can they fuse this one to the other repair? Any one heard of this.
Thanks for your help in the past, you are all great!! L4 - S1 Fusion with L3-4 Herniations and disc material on the L5 nerve root left and right. |

i would think that it could be done but your dr may want your first fusion to take place first in case of stability issues..but it sounds like a question for your dr..take care

If it is, yes it can be fused to the other.
