For today...where are you docked?
I have learned that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

Where are you docked?

Builder, You just Keep These Coming, They are Great!! I am Docked in the Harbor of Pain Today, and I Hold a bit of Melancholy with the Loss of My Grand Mother, (My Dads Mom) on Friday. We hadn't Spoken in 24 Years due to a Very Bad thing done to My Dad by His Sisters and His Mom, and My Sadness is for Him, and the Time He Lost with His Mother. It's a Very Long and Personal Story, but what was done was Very Low Handed, and My Father had every Reason to Feel the Way He Felt. Thanks so Much for These Threads, I Look Forward to Them Every Day!!Wink

RE: For today...where are you docked?
in never ending grief for now.....Daddy died in December,My sister is living on borrowed time with lung cancer and is in never ending pain, and alzhimers is taking Mommas brain grief her heart.....everyday I listen for the phone to tell me something else is wrong...but it will get better I just have to place my trust in God as he knows what is to be.....Constant trips to the nursing home to make sure both are being taken care of.....they never know when I will show up so it keeps the staff on their toes.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: For today...where are you docked?
I saw my dad on Saturday, I never go announced, always a surprise visit. Vary the hours and the days considerably. Went in my dad told me to f- off, I left, cried for a bit. But later thought, he's in good hands, he's eating, he's put back on all the weight he lost. Perhaps by the end of the week he'll tell me hi. Not my dad anymore, just a bitter shell that I love dearly.

RE: For today...where are you docked?
Today I am docked in pain and depression, trying my best to understand why the bad things in WC happen to people. My claim was going along full speed, then 2/4 I was rearended while stopped at a about 50 + miles an hour. Worst pain, other injuries to WC injury. What happens WC stops my PD because I was able to work until the car accident. Now I feel like I am not just docked but sinking.

I enjoy all of the postings you do, some make me laugh but today I am docked in slot P&P (Pain and Pity)
