Letter of Compromise Questions

RE: Letter of Compromise Questions
I hear you all...... My atty is just WC and nothing else. He is very good at what he does.

My problem is, I feel like I'm owed because I've finally reached a point in my life where I am almost 100% useless and pardon me (to people who never experienced it in their lives) but being useless is one of the worst feelings I've ever had. I was a strong person, great work ethic before my injury, now, I can't even go and get a remedial job (well below my past experience) because this injury/insurance company; destroyed me.

I, like probably most of you, tried being an "ironman" and just take what I have left and push through the pain and misery. I have no fight left at all.

I guess I"m screwed on the lawsuit part but someone here is saying something I'm also thinking about, a different atty that specializes in something other than WC and has ideas. Past wages would be nice and I wish I never signed the compromise but at the time, so many hacks they had me see pretty much doomed me, so I signed it and took a crappy "settlement" and said; Well, here I go.

I do have good news though. I had my final appt with my neuro today (2-22) and we have outlined a plan for surgery which is scheduled for March, 19. That's great news!!!!! L5-S1 will be removed and a cage will be installed. He doesn't want to go aggressive at my age, so he doesn't believe a bi-level fusion would be proper since I'm only 32. I feel like im 82 with this back. I hope by the next surgery that something more advanced will be available. I'm also opting for a posterior approach, as my younger brother had a 2 level fusion almost 7 years ago, through the anterior and lost his ability to ejaculate. I'll go for the traditional posterior entry.

Thanks again for all the responses, I truly do know where you are all coming from.

Jon

DOI--1-24-2003 / 3 cashed discs from L-3 to the sacrum / One of millions screwed by an insurance company / Lumbar fusion is set for 3-19-2010, a great reason to be positive now.......
