Backache...since you responded to this thread I hope you come back... don't you think that Wink's pic of the cat would be a great painting... wish I could do it but awe..that is your painting expertise... Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: Which prey are you?
Red, I liked that picture also. I wonder how Wink does it. He must have a really good computer...or the ability to use one better. Man.

When I lived in England, I used to be startled at night by strange screaming coming from the hedge rows at the back of the cottage I lived in. I discovered that it was a fox. They scream when looking for a mate. Sounds just like someone being murdered! Peacocks much the same. We also had hedgehogs there, not like the tiny things you get here. I would hear snuffling sounds in the back garden. I remember once waking up thinking that aliens had landed. It was only later that someone told me what the noise was.

Pretty much the only thing I hear here is coyote. And the deer tearing at the leaves of my rose bushes.
There is a merlin who visits occasionally, but I have never hear him make a noise. I do hear bald eagles sometimes. If I had a choice...I would be a bird of prey. Or a huge black cat.
