Peacocks, one of the most beautiful birds in the world, with the ugliest cries. In the Tx hill country (Medina lake) there are large flocks of wild peacocks. I can remember once coming across a band of easily 40 birds. They seem to thrive there, rather funny, with the boars, armadillos, deer, turkey, rattle snakes, etc. A peacock survives.
