is it coming??????????? can we dare hope????????? one of the new toys we bought is a tow behind tiller as neither of us can stand the hand held one since our injury...Bill has now tilled the garden 3 times and yesterday he put down lime and fertalizer......it hooks onto the riding lawnmower with its own motor so it is awesome...thank goodness for craigs list as we never could have got one new....with all that was happening last summer I didnt get to can a whole lot so I really needed a large garden this year....it was in the 60s yesterday and 50s today....this keeps up and spring will pop....first batch of chickens are due out march 1st....I hope spring is early this year,dont you? we have all had to much winter.....

so sorry Bummer it is beautiful here today and was yesterday also the crocus and dafadills are up......not blooming yet but up..the peach,pear and cherry trees are budding and the apples are showing signs of green....will know its safe to plant when the pecan trees bud

Spring? We have ice coming down currently. Temp isn't bad, more snow, ice coming tomorrow. I look forward to spring it's got to be better. If this is global warming I don't like it one little bit

We have both, it will snow for awhile, then it's the ice, then it changes to snow.

It's 40 today so Dave and Jason are putting shingles on the garage, since the snow finally cleared off. So far they have a total of 16 hours in a 46'X26' garage and after today we only need the siding and doors and it will be complete. My bluebirds were in already to check the nesting box out for this spring. Yippy I hope it warms up to 60 soon. Of course anything 30 or above feels good.

No signs of spring here, Snow everywhere, and still coming down with more forcast. I have seen large snowstorms here in the Midwest in May. But come Aug it will all melt.....We don't plant untill around May 1st, because of frost or freeze warnings. But then it dosen't matter because I don't have room for a garden. My neighbors all have gardens and keep me well supplied. And we have a large farmers market every Sat, and there are many farm stands selling produce.
