strength
My For today comment dealt with 'strength'. That comes in many forms, sometimes hard to find, always there, we just need to know how to find it.

I had to ask for strength many times this week. Pain, many times this week that I thought would end me up in the ER. But here at home this Friday night after praying for strength to continue on, especially for my son.

Strength to not interfere. To let the teachers first teach in my son's college class. Trying so hard not to be a 'mom' first. Letting my son fail, allowing him to learn from that failure. True he really didn't fail, he's still 1st ranked in his class. He's so happy, cannot truly remember the last time my son was so happy.

Strength, not a physical thing necessarily, but a letting go. Having the strength to let go, to trust, stand back, allow to happen. A promise, that the Lord won't let us down. My lesson for this day and trust me, it was a very, very good day.

RE: strength
Builder, the Best Strength is as You Stated, letting go, and Letting Our Children Grow and Learn by Their Own Mistakes!! A Very Hard and Heart Breaking Process, but Nonetheless Needed, and if We have done Our Jobs Correctly, They will Find Their Way, and be Stronger for it!! Thanks for another Great Thought Starter!!Wink

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.
