2-04 went to see new PMD:
1. spent hour 1/2 on historic report that never got done,
2. PMD, requested: Aquatic Therapy, Lyrica 50mg., M.T., Psych, SCS OR PUMP.
3. X-RAYS: 2-08-10, The man doing the x-rays slammed his hand down on the METAL TABLE, I asked him as nice as I could and said " Can u please not do that, that hurts real bad? I was already haveing a bad day,he lifts his hand up and slammed it down again on the METAL TABLE, I was crying so bad, I just wanted to get it over with and get home to bed, I couldn't go to sleep until almost 4 in the morning due to the intense pain I was in.
4. Stopped taqking Lyrica due to bad side affects 2-9-10, PER DOCTORS OFFICE.
5. Went to Aquatic therapy 2-10-10, talked to therapist, he checked me out and said i have chronic RSD, he said the way it looks i should ask my PMD for a second oppinion from a neutrol doctor, that the ic is going to try and say it's a seperate injury! that's why i need neutropl doctor thanks for all replies.

I can't believe a radiologist could be so insensitive and actually repeat a hand slamming onto the table, when you kindly asked him to stop, because it caused you pain! Hopefully you reported him to the hospital officials. If you haven't already...do it! That's just too insensitive, and cruel!

I'm so sorry you could not tolerate the Lyrica...as it does help me with nerve pain. There are other similar medicine alternatives that possibly you can tolerate. Did the doc give you something different?

Get yourself to a good neuro, and one that is well acquainted with RSD. He can help you with the latest and greatest care.

Sunshine...I am so sorry this happened....I agree with Lilly..if you haven't already reported him/her do so now.That's a disgrace and very unprofessional....I used to keep my mouth shut about these things but I refuse to have anyone and I mean anyone treat with with disrespect.....I don't care what service they're in. I couldn't take Lyrica either but Neurontin works for me. Wishing you the best Smile

did call there office up and let them know what has happened, matter of fact they set me up an appt. today at 10:15am so I am already to go, I couldn't believe he was going to be so insenseative also because when my husband was in there explaining how i am and felt the man seemed to understand,

You mean to tell me, your husband was in the room with you doing the X-rays, and nothing happened? I would of had the guy fired before I left the office, and demanded to know why in Gods world, would this person ever treat a patient in such a fashion, and why was it being allowed to ever take place. I know for a fact, if it were my wife, first she would have knocked the guys teeth out, or she would have tried, but yes, she would have inflict pain on him. Then if she couldn't handle the issue through the office, I surly would have done so.

You put a large pad lock in your purse for now on, that will be your defense system next time. Yes, it will hurt when you swing the purse and hit them in the head.

I must say this. You better toughen up Sunshine, or these people are going to walk all over you, for your allowing them to do so.

No, I'm sorry for the cofusion, my husband went outside the room when this all happened, sorry i had to leave to dr.s earlier, trust me my husband would of lost it too he did the following day when it hit me why the intense pain was still affecting me, today my appt. was at 10:15am we arrived there 15 min. prior, we waited patiently in the small waiting room, finally i asked the sec. how much longer is it going to be? she said as soon as a dr. is free, my husband clearly stated to her if u make an appt. a patient should not have to wait a hour to be seen, some people have a hard time just getting out of bed on there own, he was referring to me when a lady started going off on my husband that was behind me, i turned around and tried to be nice and explain why my husband feels like that then she called me a b word, Then the same x-ray man came out and asked what was going on? my husband asked to talk to a suppervisor, get this he said he was the suppervisor then of course i said your telling me a suppervisor that when i came in the other day slammed his hand down on the metal table and i asked nicely as i could not to do that again it hurt me even more and u still did it again? he shut up and walked away! I am so tiered of this, i am so tiered of everything any more respect where did it go? thanks BBBB[/u]

When the Dr. finally came to the room almost 2 hours of being there, he said what side affects were u haveing? I told him and he said i have never heard of that before like i'm lying! the he prescribed me topax or something like that, then my husband Darrell asked what else he was talking about because we wanted to make sure, he right away had an attitude because he didn't want to repeat himself i guess! He said sympithedic injection a nerve block he said, i guess i was wrong about scs i just wanted to make sure, then we got coppies from the last time we were there and it says i have a 75% chance of recovery well if that's true why did the aquatic therapist say i have chronic RSD? i don't understand any of this, I wish that 75% chance was the truth, it would give me hope. Before I went in there my pain level was a 8 by the time we left my pain was at a 9 1/2. that fast.

You better toughen up Sunshine. You can report the office to your State Dept of Insurance. But, have another Medical Office to go to first.

When Darrell gets home I'll post on here what the Dr. wrote, I am so thankful for everyone here because I feel maybe I've been doing something wrong, these 10 months, I will toughen up and I'm not going to take there rudeness! I just can't stand myself being rude, that makes me feel so down on myself.Thanks again BBBB! I will also show Darrell the link you put on here thanks a bunch.

Sunshine, I say you have to toughen up, because your going to encounter alot of crap, and you have only seen the sampled parts so far. better to say you been on the easy stuff. It will get tougher as time goes by, so yes, you need to thicken that skin up. Not everyone you will meet in this work comp system is going to be nice to you, just because your a nice person. It will not work that way, as your starting to see the picture a little clearer.
