;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Chris Chris
I'm here Jayne. I have been trying to review the posts everyday, but haven't had a lot of time or energy lately.

I've stepped up my home therapies to 3-4 hrs. daily.

Had to re-learn how to cope with pain without much in the way of medications. Can't take much due to kidney problems.

Once I get all this done, my day's more than half over and I have just been so fatigued. Been sleeping my life away. LOL!

I feel better emotionally, which helps me cope. Waiting for approval for trial SCS.

Went to the doctor today and got kudos for losing 20 lbs. since dropping meds and stepping up therapy; but boy do I hurt! LOL Tongue

Thanks for looking after me. You are a good person Jayne! Tongue

Good to see you Chris....you sound so much better emotionally. Great job on the 20#. Another added bonus from WC...get injured and take all sorts of meds that make you gain weight, mess us your internal organs, etc. Rolleyes

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.

Chris Chris- please stay on top of the Kidney problems. I would not wish going to dialysis on any one, the diet is a pain as well. I know you are happy to drop the weight, just don't loss it to fast as then it might come back.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: Chris Chris
Thanks everyone. Doctor told me yeserday he doesn't want me losing anymore than 1 lb. per week, so that is my goal. I put on about 55 lbs. since injury due to meds and a complete halt to an active lifestyle. Such is life.........Tongue

I did my 2 hrs. of water therapy this morning, and added 2 lb. bar bells to help build strength in my upper body. Wow, you can't tell me that 2 lbs is not heavy! LOL -- I've been on a 5 lb. weight restriction for a very long time.

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: Chris Chris
ChrisChris... sounds like you are doing well with the weight loss... good luck and your doc is right 1 lb a week is most likely the way to go since your body has had so much stress on it already. I know what you mean by the 2 lbs, I take water aerobics 3-4 x's a week... and we use 2-3 lbs.. keeping this up and down while kicking in the water is exhausting... 50 minutes is my limit right now... my arms are rather weak right now... but as with you... just take it one day at a time and one week at a time.. it will happen... glad to see you..Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
