Oh my.....you gotta look
Howdy,
My daughter got me looking and lordy, I thought I'd seen it all. But you have to look, it's bad, embarrassing, I may never go shopping in a Walmart again.

It's bad, it's twisted, I just know I'll have nightmares tonight

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look

Oh BB thanks for posting this. My daughter and I went to Walmart yesterday and looked at the sights first hand. She was telling me that pics were being circulated but I couldn't find anything. One day my husband and I were there buying his Propel watched a young girl with a baby ,(the girl was extremely thin and very young) walk in with her stretch pants rolled down all the way below her crack. Her entire butt was out, short top on, chilly out. There's no way she didn't know it, because her A$$ had to catch a chill walking int he store....my husband of course had to say something loudly like 'OMG please pull your pants up" . Maybe 10 minutes later we ran into her in another aisle and boy those pants were up around her waist....maybe it was a mistake....someone told her to pull them up.

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.

I now believe that I have still lived a sheltered life, I was shocked. This is after working ER, LDR, public schools, etc. My husband jut might avoid Walmart after this.

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look
Mine doesn't want to go anymore either that's why I was with my daughter.....he's sick of seeing people half clothed....it really bothers him. This is going to sound terrible but I'm going to say it anyway and hope that all understand. We have had 3 shut down huge stores in the past year. In really nice neighborhoods. Not one was made into a Walmart but all made into something not needed and now are on the verge of closing. All of the walmarts within 30 minutes of me are in nice very nice neighborhoods. I don't mean poor...I mean crime....is that why?

God is never late.

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look
My friend and myself go to WalMart all of the time.....mostly so that when we see what turns up there, we don't feel so bad about ourselves. No need to look as bad as some of these people want to look. I know that a lot of people have weight issues, but you can still dress appropriately. And I have seen some wonderfully big people look really beautiful. And I have also come across the type of skinny girl with the baby. yep, seems to be a style. Snowing outside and tiny little clothes covering nothing at all.

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look
Decency is sorely lacking in our society. Whatever happened to no shoes, shirt, no service?

Walmart needs to address not only their clients clothing and habits but also their own staff's dress. The vest was nice, it covered up alot, it was respectable, clean, made the staff stand out. Now the staff in many stores look as 'white trash' as the clients. In one store is a very, very large lady, cashier, she wears tank tops that shows most of her breasts, quite inappropriate.

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look
I brought up a suggestion to our local store to put in some more modest blouses they said "they dont sell" so in order to get a blouse that doesnt show cleavage I must hit thrift shops or the larger chains......I was able to get turtle necks this winter but I would love a nice white blouse that buttons to the collar....pants that dont cut my bottom in two and shoes that arent stilts.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

This was interesting...I must be very non observant because I don't notice this stuff at all... I guess I see people occasionally that I think could cover up a bit more.. is our society just getting so use to it that now it has affected me... I am not sure.. thanks for sharing. Red

I guess the old saying " If you got it Flaunt it" appplies to WalMart......... Makes one wonder if people have no pride in there appearance any more. I have seen some real winners.......

RE: Oh my.....you gotta look
Dave and I were at Wally World (WalMart) one day and there was this girl who was at least 8 months pregnant. She had on a halter top and low slung sweat pants. Her tummy was completely bare. I thought poor Dave was going to have a nervous breakdown.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!
