RE: bone scan
Just what kind of doctor was this that ordered the Bone Scan?

We told you it was a useless test.

RE: bone scan
Ask your present Dr. for a referral to a GOOD neuro. Obviously, there is not a bone problem since the scan was normal...so all that's left is tissue, and nerve problems.

Good Luck, Lilly

RE: bone scan
sounds like you neeed to see a good Neruo dr. He will know what test to do to check the nerves and what else he thinks might be causing the problems.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: bone scan
Do you need to be refered to a Specialist? I don't know, what kind of Insurance your using... Yes, there is something wrong for being in pain. Yes, you will in time get an answer to that, if you seek the right doctor and treatment. Will you like the answer when it comes, no you wont. Is there some kind of medical help? Only the right doctor can answer that too.

RE: bone scan
BBBB, I have ALWAYS had to have a referral to any specialist. If I tried to call them myself...they'd tell me a had to have a referral and would refuse any apppointment making.

RE: bone scan
My personal insurance required a refferrel. Those that don't have an HMO don't need one. They can go to anyone they choose.

RE: bone scan
well i go to my new primary who helped my mother in law to point her in the right direstion to help her with her pack pain. my pain is coming from many areas ie degeneitive disc disease and ridiculopthy. i also have frominal narrowing of the spine so finding a good ortho or neurologist. i dont go see him until the 25th. my dr switched me percocet and is doing nothing to help the pain. i know he is against pain medication as he just told me last week he wont give me anymore. now i have been on pain meds for over 2 years and all the sudden he wont give them to me? just because he doesnt like them is no reason not to give them to me i need something just to get out of bed and live my daily life.
