requesting medical records

I have court on the 28th (treatment for my knee) so I may contact the nurse this week.

Hi.
I found most of my MD's, & hospitals were difficult to obtain any medical record or report of myself. The cardio especially didn't like it, and still does not. When I went to hospital get obtain a certain surgery record on my work injury....they had to have a reason as to "why I wanted it? and exactly which document i wanted" I think they are afraid you're thinking about suing them. I told them I wanted it because I was exercising my right to have it. After a small fee, I was given the copy. The hospital downright refused to let me view my own records though.
