I have a hearing scheduled, YES!!!
I received notice in the mail today..........I have a hearing scheduled, March 4th!!!

This is for the left knee, (replacement)

I experience limited range of motion & pain with this knee.

It is my responsibility to take care of this knee......and that is why I have asked to return to the doctor.

RE: I have a hearing scheduled, YES!!!
Thanks halftrak

I last saw the surgeon 8 months ago, he told me I should not have any pain with this knee.

I want to make sure everything with the knee is okay before I settle.

Can't believe I am so excited about a doctor appointment, Laughing!

RE: I have a hearing scheduled, YES!!!
All this should have been taken care of long ago, as this knee replacement hasn't been right for you since you got it. You have pain, lack of proper range of motion, and what ever else. There should have been more done by the surgeon then just a follow up.

Thank you Bad Boy, your support means a lot to me.

The surgeon says as long as my knee is in better condition then it was pre-surgery then I am doing good.

Stryker recently has issued recalls on some of their hip & knee replacement numbers.
I am fortunate mine isn't on the list.

RE: I have a hearing scheduled, YES!!!
I have open medical on the knee because I have not settled.

In Kansas having open medical means going before the judge every time an IW needs future medical treatment. Unless the insurance company agrees to the future medical treatment, won't happen with me.

My attorney says this is a good thing, as he can remind the judge a decision needs made on the December 17th hearing.

RE: I have a hearing scheduled, YES!!!
I made an appointment to see the surgeon on the right arm & hand for next week.

I believe it is time I return to the surgeon and will be paying for the appointment myself.

I am having difficulity opening & closing my hand. I have an entrapment of the ulnar nerve at the elbow, mild/moderate wasting of muscles, and carpal tunnel syndrome.

I need to know what is going on with the arm.

I'm not for sure how to pay for the surgery if the surgeon says surgery is needed now.

It has been 13 months since the first hearing, a 2nd hearing was Dec 17, 09, and still no decision.
