RE: The country song is correct....
such a shame it is a beautiful place
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: The country song is correct....
Well, I would atleast have the pictures, cost of labor, parts, and repair. And I would file in the Civil court to recover the cost from the renter. The renter can then try to recover theor money from the ones that molested the building. Either way, make them pay. fee's to file in civil court are only around $25.00 to $125.00, and when you win, you request on the form recovery for the filing cost also. All money is recoverable. The process is quick, and about 2 hearings long.

RE: The country song is correct....
Tuffy Things get broken quite often at the Castle. Glasses, shades etc. Most people will leave some money, but I expect things are going to get broken and if it is something that gets knocked off of a wall etc. I don't worry about it. This was deliberate vandalism as far as I'm concerned. BX4 and the rest I am going to keep track of the costs....after being on WC I really don't want to go to court either, but when I E mail her with the damages she may offer to pay. They did break a wall bracket while there and she offered to pay for this. I don't think this woman had any idea that these things were done.

RE: The country song is correct....
Maybe she has ,or will learn a lesson from this on how to pick better friends and to check a place for damage before checking out., I learned the hard way.
If the Inn we stayed at haden't sent me a bill saying they were charging my credit card, Then I called them to ask if there was a mistake or what!!!!!!. That is when I found out about the damage.... The people I was with probably would have never told me..... Untill I called them and asked i f they knew there son had done this. She said yes but chose to ignore it.........She did pay the damages, over $350.00. So go after the woman and let her go after her friends for the damages. Send her a bill, What have you got to loose, and you may be re embersed for the damage. You may want to start thinking of a Security deposit from renters that can be given back at the end of there stay, or you may have to check out the Castle for damage on the day of there leaving, ( A Walkthrough) Good luck. Do ya want to rent to a group of injured workers???????? LOL Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |

RE: The country song is correct....
Well at least I wouldn't have to worry about people not taking care of things if it were you guys. We had a large group and none of you little buggers decided to rewire the place LOL And believe me I could feed you all pork and still have tons.....We have a chest freezer and it is filled to the top with pork, venison and trout. Let it snow, rain or flood I don't have to go shopping.
