Has anyone seen Avatar?

I finally let Dave talk me into going to this movie. I usually hate sci fi and didn't think I would like it. Other than I had to get up and walk around out in the entrance several times, because it is a 3 hour movie, I loved it. It had a great plot, it reminded me of what we did to the Native Americans. The photography, colors and everything else were awesome. I would love to live there.

Ellen and Her Brother and Sister saw it in an I-Max Theater, with 3D Glasses, and She said it was Awesome!! It was Like You cold Reach out and Touch the Movie, They had a Great Time!! They went the Day after Christmas, and Then went to Dinner, I'm so Happy She got Out a Bit and Enjoyed Herself!!

I also went the day after Christmas.

I really didn't think I would like the movie, although in the end I did enjoy it.

When we first got there we were the only ones in the theater. I kept looking at the handicap chairs and told Dave they looked so much more comfortable than the regular seats. I didn't want to sit in one in case people in wheel chairs came in, so we took regular seats. 2 minutes before the movie started 4 young men came running in and each plopped in one of these chairs. I truly think I wouldn't be in so much pain today if I would have sat in one of them, but unfortunately my Mom raised me the right way and that is to think of others.

Avatar has been booked out here every since it came. My daughter and her family are still trying to get a seat. Red

I thought it was great say it just after Christmas in 3-D. Did you know that there's a disorder associated with this movie? People wanting to go there because it's a better world than ours. People actually wanting to commit suicide. Sad isn't it?
