1 year wc anniversary

wow its been 1 year since my injury and 7 months since my surgery..dont know how much longer this will go on but so ready for it to be over

there is no way to know how long it will take you to get threw the system, a lot depends on how well and how much you heal, if you are able to return to work wnd what perm restrictions you have. Are you still off work? What restrictions do you have? are you still going for pain control, pt? all of these things come into play with settling with wc, don't rush it, make sure you are well before settlement

i start pm on the 25 already done with pt..last drs appointment on the 7th dr said im fusing well and should be fused in a couple of months..yeah im still off work due to the employer being unable to work with my restrictions which are no lifting over 25 lbs no bending twisting or squating..the dr didnt want pm for me but i begged and pleaded telling him about my pain and finaly approved it and im gonna have a hardware injection soon to decide if he removes the hardware or leaves it but he says hes 80% sure thats whats causing my problems bc the fusion looks so good and hes not the surgeon that did the surgery so i trust he is being honest

Wish I could say Happy Anniversary, but there is nothing happy about this one. I to am approaching my 1 year. Intital injury January 30 2009. Glad to hear your fusing well, and I hope your hardware injection goes good and dosen't cause any pain. Good luck. Kit

Patience has to be learned if you are in the WC system. Frustrating, yes! Don't take anything personally. Just play the game and hold on as you travel thru the crazy maze.
