RE: Gas prices
Tuffy..Oregon never went below $2.59 per gallon... they are around $2.79 to $3:19.. depends on where you buy right now. Funny but retail in Oregon is much higher than NJ, but this may be because I did a lot of grocery shopping at the military commissary at McGuire... also, the state tax is very high here. The property tax is nothing here, but I don't own a home here... and the utility bills.. wow..out of this world... my electric bill dropped around $1100 a month.. isn't it strange how depending on where you live one thing may be cheaper than another. NJ is one of the cheapest states on gas because they do some manufacturing of it there..at least I guess that is why... Red

RE: Gas prices
Red, My last gas and electric total was $84.00 30 miles south they have 2 seperate utility companys and it is 3 times what I pay. I have a Co-op out of Wisconsin. So I lucked out. I sure wouldn't want to fill up my tank in your area. And groceries here are very reasonable.

Sounds like most are under $3.00 a gallon. Ours flucuates every week......
