RE: How did you bring in the New Year
Jayne...I've been sleeping in pj pants and a tank for years , even in the winter...If I'm cold I throw one of Hubby's old long sleeve T-shirts on...Look like a real bum. I treated myself to flannels this year. Snow men all over or smiley faces. Now the tank is under a matching shirt and boy am I stylish.
If hubby could run he'd be chasing me around the room. LOL
God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

RE: How did you bring in the New Year
Cappy I have flannel sheets for the winter, they are awesome I buy them when walmart puts them on sale after christmas...they are full of snowmen and winter scenes but once the lights go off you cant see em anyway.....My Mother also bought those snugglies you see on TV.....they are nice for watching TV..and very long when I stand up there is still a foot of flannel on the ground..I stay cold all the time....I took to wearing my Daddys sweat suits after he died as a way to stay connected to him and they are nice and warm also.....I also look like a thrift store reject but a warm one.....
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: How did you bring in the New Year
Never thought of "Thrift store reject" But yes you got the pic..... Hubby doesn't like flannerl sheets ..why I don't know becaue the Chemo has made him cold all the time.....I'm usually comfortable this time of the year as I like the cold ...but I also bundle up.
The morning my dad died, I was called at work ....I got there as quickly as I could, laid in bed and hugged him for about 10 minutes....stood up and took his bathrobe and slippers and informed my mother and sister that they were mine. I sat in his chair for the rest of the day with his bathrobe over my clothes. I understand the comfort that comes from having something of theirs on.
God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |
