Speaking of puppies......
This litter of 11 abandoned puppies was found yesterday, in a dumpster just about 10 mins. from my home. They are so adorable, and so lucky that someone heard their cries. I'm not judging the person who did this as they may have been very very desperate, but................they could have taken these puppies to a shelter.

RE: Speaking of puppies......
Will never understand how people can be so cruel. How can you take something so precious and just dump them. Why even let them live to be 4 weeks old and then dump them......Makes one wonder if they didn't want kids if they would do the same thing....Thanks be to that group that protects all those poor animals.

RE: Speaking of puppies......
Here it costs around $80. just to adopt a cat. In Oct the Humane Society did a buy one get one free. I already have 4, all fixed, shots all current. Two out of our four were abandoned as kittens, one is actually a Maine Coon, he's huge, almost full grown.
Why someone would want to get rid of a Maine Coon is beyond me, he was skin and bones when we found him. We named him Jasper, he's a big baby, loves cuddling.

RE: Speaking of puppies......
we have a vet in a town about 30 miles away that does spay and nueter for low and no cost to senior citizens and $5 a year shots we are lucky to have a few caring vets...but to properly care for a dog and get shots and heartworm and flea meds can be very expensive...we are lucky enough here in Okla to buy our shots and meds from the co op and give em ourselfs if we live in the country....most laws require a vet to give them to any dogs or cats in the city limits.....

RE: Speaking of puppies......
[attachment=729]All dogs and cats in our area ,in town or country have to have there shots by the vets and regestered, even the Kennels require all shots and proof from the vet for boarding to help prevent the spread of any infections

Here is a picture of my babys, can you imagine dumping them in a dumpster!!!!!!! Thay were all labs 13 her one and only litter.
