Hello everyone. Jayne, depression is so bad here, the only thing I have to look up to is PAIN. Often, I wonder, if it will get any better. It's hard to even think. Next week I have a visit with social worker at mental health, I'm only inches from voluntary asking to be put in a facility to help me in this frame of mind that I'm in. I'm tired of this w/c system. I'm tired of the inadequate medical system. I'm tired of the sneaky pain. The family that treat me with no respect. Except my mother. The lawyer who always seem invisible. Of being broke(no pot to pi** in, or a window to throw it out). Just want to let you know that you are not alone. Meditating and talking to God, helps me. If I had some grass to call my own, and an home with extra space, and a kitchen to simmer some good buttery, lil salty ~grits~, alone with some buttered flaky biscuits w/oinion brown gravy. You and anyone else from up there would be invited to come and spend some time down here in South La. I pray that this helps in a way. Because it has help me. Izell.

thanks all of you....I do believe it has something to do with the winter blahs...I am hoping once the greenhouse is fully up and going I will be better.... even on cold days as long as the sun is shining it will be warm and the benifits from the sunlight will help....in the meantime I just have to adjust and keep going.....

jayne... I am here anytime you need to talk. You have been through so much so fast. You life has been on a roller coaster and now...you may have a little time to think that will lead us all in to some sort of depression.... my prayers are with you... Red

Jayne- see if the dr will give you a script for tanning as Sad is a real problem and as you have had so many problems this last year it is easy to become depressed. THe tanning will help.
Know if you need to talk I am as close as the phone.

Ellen and I are Depressed This Winter also, always Dark and Damp this Year with Little Sun, and as Usual, the After Christmas Blues! So Take that Ride, Scream and Cry, Break that Plate Glass Window, and Look to Your Children for the Unlimited Love and Happiness They give without even Knowing it!! Oh yeah the winter blues, stuck in a house, no money to atleast go for a ride to give us somthing to do... Pain levels go up, weight goes up, energy rates and costs go up. What is one to do, If I sit at the puter my pain sky rockets, the only thing I have to look forward to is that I'm working which causes me to take more pain meds, and then I have my son (my prize possesion) that I love and adore. And I think I have my wife that I love so dearly.....

Jayne I pray that you get relief from that nasty depression, you have been through so much and even though you seem to be a very strong women, what you have had to go through will tear the strongest down adventually... Lots of pogo and some more pogo and some sunlight... Heck start a thread about picking on me or maybe OBAMA, try to get your mind off the things right now... I care for ya, pm me if you ever need to...

PS.. Is the florida trip still in your plans, plenty of sun and fun..?
