Hearts now and forever, a poem
Hearts now and forever

Hearts beating
One is fast
Another is deteriorating
Last one is now past

Hearts can be given
Hearts can give love
Hearts can be given from heaven,
Hearts can be shoved.

Where be your heart,
From earth or above?
Where be your your heart
Is it here or on the wings of a dove?

Keep your heart beating steady,
Keep your love close at hand.
Keep your heart always ready.
Because your love needs to stand.


Not the best poem I've ever done but a start. Already my heart (not a pun) is lifted, sincerely.
