Hi Tweety:
Yes I had the same symptoms. Call the doctor and let him know what is going on. Make sure you are using your collar and continue the icing. If it is uncomfortable to swallow make sure whatever you are eating to crush it so you don't have to swallow anything big...Just my opinion

RE: cerivical ppl ?
Hello Tweety
How are we feeling these days?? As you know I'm having a rough time of things but would like to know how you're fairing. Do you still need all your meds or have you been able to cut down. Even though I'm back to work I find I still need the vicodin after work at times or on the weekend. I continue my muscle relaxers and the doc gave me mobic to take while working. Hear it's pretty bad for the stomach and lord knows what else.
Take care and Be Well

Ps I hope you have a scar as unnoticeable as mine. Doc did a good job

Take Care and Be Well
Tom

RE: cerivical ppl ?
Im one who hates meds ok so only take when needed ! Got off the cymbalta and klopin since no stress Im not working ! so that helps keep those monsters ( sorry not you blue Wov u !!)away not dealing with management ! which helps alot Not being told that I should be doing more and more outside of retrictions .. Vicodin What a help that is but way to big of a pill to swallow even before surgery .
Now on to work on back on end of a august hopefully when I go back for check up ..
Scars all bite but well i have one but I compared it to someone from my town and it looks just like hers but fresher ..
Her lovely comment was " you going to have a hard time finding any job We are stained for even filing a w/c claim

RE: cerivical ppl ?
tweety, glad to hear your doing better. Also never let the pain run away on you. It takes too long to get it back under control.

Vit (E) OIL; Comes in a bottle, that looks like a nail polish bottle, one drop on the scare area after stiches are out. Rub it in, and rubrub with fingers. It will help to hide the scare in time. it does work.
