Kid you gotta love em
Yesterday we picked up Daddys creamains in his urn..it is about the size of a shoe box and a grean marble....Shaelynn my 7 year old looked at the urn and asked Rebecca whats that?(you must remember its nearly christmas and she thinks every pretty box that comes into the house is a christmas present)Rebecca told her that is Grandpa Mom picked him up at the funeral home...she kinda looked at it funny and said its not very big did they just put his head in there?Becca explained to her we had him creamated and his whole body was turned to ashes and they put his ashes in the box.....her eyes filled with tears and she said in a quiet voice "Becca didnt that hurt him?"No Shae she said when you die all your feelings fly to heaven.....you dont hurt ever again.....Shae grinned and walked away...you gotta love em

Very good answer. If I could share something...

My mom died 16 yrs ago, my dad came to visit us in Kansas 3 months later.
Jared my youngest took her death very hard, he was only 5, when he had last seen his grandma 5 months before he couldn't hug her, he was afraid, he didn't remember her, he had last seen her when he was 3. We tried very hard to console him but in the end it was my dad who through his tears helped my son and himself.

My mom was a double amputee, Above the knee amputation (AKA). Jared asked his grandpa one day how grandma could walk in heaven without her legs. My dad's reply: "Grandma's legs went to heaven first." With that said Jared stopped his 4 days of on and off tears, they hugged then grandpa and grandson went fishing hand in hand.

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.
