Anyone with memory problems?
So here I am, twiddling my thumbs, whilst w/c try to decide whether or not they will allow my surgery in Kansas City for Tarlovs. I have now been on w/c for two years. Had one surgery at L5-S1, herniated disk, failed. Discovered Tarlovs and is now accepted they they are workplace injury related. So far so good. I have been on Lyrica for just about a year...and new type of muscle relaxant. Problem is, I keep forgetting things. I have lists of things I want to do, but never find the list...ha ha....For a while I was thinking I was just tired and a bit depressed. But now I am not so sure. A friend of mine is also on Lyrica and she decided to try to come off of it since she felt it was the Lyrica making her feel stupid. Of course, at my age, it could well be just dementia. Though I think not. Could also be that I have nothing really important to fill my days with. I love to get out, but can't drive any longer with the meds. Any thoughts on this?

Yeah. The only thing I don't forget is where the pills are!!!! Though i do forget if I have actually taken them or not. My brain used to be a well oiled machine. Maybe I should try WD-40.

RE: Anyone with memory problems?
Memory loss is one of the more common side effects of Lyrica.
I dye my hair blonde, that way people just assume my dumbness is due to my hair problem. Not a real blonde but I have BLS, Blonde Leg syndrome. (Natural blonde hair on legs and arms) |

RE: Anyone with memory problems?
BB- my hair was blonde for years but in the last year have let the gray take over, then people just think I am just a little old lady and go a little easier on me and my lack of memory.

RE: Anyone with memory problems?
My brain is also fried. To much pain, to much going on in my brain yet not enough in my life. Hell who needs to remember when they don't have anything to do?
