Wearing black to court today
I am wearing all black today to court for the 4th time in a row. This is my 5th court appearance, the 1st time I wore blue and black. It didn't go well, I felt like it was Mickey Mouse court, I couldn't tell my story, my side, give my feelings, etc.

So I wear black (even my underwear), I'm in mourning for all of us who have to go through this system. I wear black because my mood is bleak, withdrawn, restrained, solemn. My only joy today is having a friend at court, hopefully we can uplift each other. Laugh during lunch, find some joy today.

My last part of my outfit is something else that I've worn 3 times in a row.
My earrings, I wear them because this court, this judge is a joke. It is a Mickey Mouse court which is why I wear my Mickey Mouse earrings.

So if you can, the next time you go to court wear all black, I might even loan out my earrings.

Take care, be strong,
BB

RE: Wearing black to court today
The judge won't like my outfit because well frankly she wouldn't be able to get her behind or probably a toe into my size 4 jeans. So it would more likely be jealousy.

It was sad though, the judge is getting around worse than I am

RE: Wearing black to court today
The Psychology of Color:

"Dark colors convey authority and power. Pastel colors are approachable and soft, but not powerful. These colors include black, navy blue, forest green, deep purple, and burgundy. Navy blue should be the first choice as it conveys trust, honesty, and organization. Black shows confidence and power, and that is why law enforcement and some branches of the military wear black and navy blue. These colors carry power, authority and command.

Forest green, deep purple, and medium blue can make you appear calm, relaxed and friendly.

Of the reds, burgundy conveys sophistication, while someone wearing blue-red is seen as assertive. Orange-red is received as outgoing and lively.

Be careful: medium to light green has never tested well for women."

Hope your earrings made the statement that you wanted. LOL!

Let Go, and Let God......
