Virginia Injured at work and clueless
A couple months back i hurt my leg pretty bad at work. My boss told me to help lift a table.. she got the table leg caught punctured in 2 boxes. I ended up helping her out.. lifted table and pain just shot up in my entire leg. I asked for workers comp but she didnt know what to do.. that boss was demoted and put in another store. A new boss replaced her told me she would talk to my District Manager about the incident. She did.. the DM told me to file a report. Weeks pass.. She tells me i need to file a report... But they are all out of forms. 2 weeks later a flood hit my town preventing me from going to work for 2 days. They pressured me into coming into work so i ended up just quitting over the phone. It has been a month since then and my leg is in pretty bad shape and i cant afford to go to the doctor either. What can i do?
